Sunset Ceremony and Sweet Moments at One of Houston’s Most Beloved Wedding Venues
This wedding at Shirley Acres was such a beautiful mix of romance, fun, and sweet moments—definitely one for the books! We started the day with the bride getting ready, surrounded by her bridesmaids. She looked stunning in her dress—totally gave off Disney princess vibes. After a few elegant portraits with her girls, we met up with the groom and his groomsmen for some fun group shots outside. The guys kept it relaxed and playful, and you could tell everyone was excited for the big moment. The outdoor ceremony took place right at sunset, with all the twinkle lights already on—it was seriously magical. The light was perfect, and the whole space had such a romantic feel. After the “I do’s,” we had a blast taking photos with the full wedding party. So many laughs and good energy—it made for some really fun shots! Later on, we snuck away with the bride and groom for some cozy nighttime portraits. Between the soft lights and their natural chemistry, those photos turned out to be some of our favorites.
Candlelight Reception and a Grand Exit to Remember
The reception was gorgeous with all the warm candlelight and floor-to-ceiling glass letting in the night glow. Their first dance was super romantic, and the cake cutting was picture-perfect. The bride also did a bouquet toss before they wrapped it all up with a beautiful white rose petal grand exit.
