A Wedding Full of Southern Charm, Friendship, and Golden Hour Magic
This wedding was Texan to the core—laid-back, full of heart, and SO much fun! Held at the Bridge City Community Center in Bridge City, TX, this celebration was all about good vibes, great people, and a sunset to remember. We kicked things off with getting ready photos and portraits with the bride, groom, and their amazing crew—8 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen who were all longtime best friends. The energy was already high before the ceremony even started! The ceremony took place indoors at the Community Center, but we couldn’t resist sneaking out afterward for some golden hour portraits. We captured the whole crew in the parking lot full of trucks (because how could we not?), and then took some sweet romantic shots of the couple under a live oak tree and around the neighborhood, complete with those classic red Texas houses in the background.
Dancing on Tables, Barbecue in the Air & a Sparkler Exit to Remember
The reception was one for the books—barbecue was grilling outside and making everyone hungry, the dance floor was packed, and yes... the bride danced on a table! There was cake, champagne (Moët, no less!), and an epic sparkler exit. The bride even changed into a fun mini dress for the send-off—just the perfect touch to wrap up the night. It was such a joy to document a wedding that felt so true to who they are—down-to-earth, joyful, and full of love. If you’re dreaming of a wedding that’s fun, personal, and all about the people you love most, this one is your sign that it can be done beautifully.
