A Glowing Gift and a Beautiful Beginning
This wedding at The Sam Houston Hotel in downtown Houston was full of romance, city lights, and plenty of personality. We started the day with the bride and groom getting ready, capturing all the excitement and little details before the ceremony. One of our favorite moments happened when the groom surprised the bride with a glowing moon as a wedding gift. It was such a sweet and unexpected gesture, and her reaction made it even more special. The ceremony took place in the hotel ballroom, with the couple exchanging vows in front of one of the venue’s beautiful textured walls. The elegant setting and warm atmosphere made the ceremony feel intimate and romantic.
Downtown Night Portraits and Dancing Until Late
After the ceremony, we headed outside for some nighttime wedding portraits in downtown Houston. The city was glowing, and there was no shortage of fun places to photograph the newlyweds. We made our way around the historic Rice Hotel building, capturing portraits with the downtown lights and architecture. And then, just when we thought the city couldn't make the photos any more exciting, a passing train became part of the scene. The combination of city lights, historic buildings, and the movement of the train gave the portraits a cinematic Houston feel. Back at the reception, it was time to party! The dance floor was packed, and the newlyweds and their guests danced the night away. But the night wasn't over yet. After the reception, everyone continued the celebration with an after party at a nearby nightclub. Because apparently, one party just wasn't enough!
