Dancing Through the Streets of Houston
This engagement session in Montrose was such a beautiful mix of movement, color, and personality. These two are both dancers, so naturally, there was plenty of graceful movement throughout the session. Their connection came through so effortlessly, and photographing them felt more like watching a little dance than posing for engagement photos. We wandered through the streets of Montrose, stopping at colorful murals, interesting architecture, and all the little urban details that make this Houston neighborhood so much fun to photograph. There were so many beautiful murals along the way that we had plenty of options for creating a gallery full of variety.
Colorful Murals and a Little Montrose Magic
One of our favorite stops was the Montrose Paint Wall, where the bright colors and bold artwork gave the session a completely different energy. Against all those vibrant murals, the couple’s movement really came alive. We loved letting them move naturally rather than keeping everything overly posed. A spin, a dip, a little dancing in the middle of the street, and suddenly we had some of our favorite images of the day.
Montrose was the perfect setting for these two. Colorful, creative, a little quirky, and full of personality, just like their engagement session. And with two dancers in front of our cameras, there was definitely no shortage of graceful moments!
