This winter wedding at The Annex was sweet, emotional, and full of those quiet moments that really matter. From a peaceful morning getting ready to a cozy, festive reception, the day felt calm, joyful, and genuinely heartfelt. We started with the bride getting ready alongside her mom and her best friend. It was simple and intimate, with lots of smiles, happy nerves, and little moments in between that make getting ready photos so special. The ceremony took place in the gazebo, surrounded by tall pine trees. As soon as the groom saw his bride walking down the aisle, the emotions hit hard. It was one of those moments that says everything without a single word. After the i dos, everyone took a breath, shared hugs, and eased into cocktail hour while we slipped away for a few portraits.
Romantic Portraits and a Cozy Christmas Reception
We wandered around the venue for some relaxed portraits by the fountain and the green room. Nothing forced, just soft light, connection, and time for the couple to soak it all in together. Once cocktail hour wrapped up, we said our goodbyes and left the couple to keep celebrating. Inside, the reception hall was decorated with Christmas touches, creating the coziest vibe as the party carried on with good music, laughter, and lots of love.
