A Touch of England in the Texas Fall
This beautiful fall wedding at Venue 311 was such a fun one to photograph. It took place during COVID, so the celebration was a little more intimate, but that didn’t stop everyone from having an amazing time. We started the day with bridal preparations, surrounded by all the little details that made the wedding feel personal. And one thing was very clear from the beginning: the bride’s cats were a big part of the story! There were so many sweet cat inspired details woven throughout the day, which made everything feel even more like them. The outdoor ceremony took place by the pond and fountain, surrounded by beautiful fall scenery. Their vows were heartfelt and emotional, and it was such a sweet moment watching them promise their lives to each other.
Emerald Green, Fall Colors, and Lots of Fun
The portraits were so much fun! The combination of the changing fall colors with the emerald green bridesmaid dresses and the groom and groomsmen’s suits gave the whole wedding an elegant, almost English countryside feel. We wandered around the property, taking advantage of the beautiful light and fall foliage while capturing plenty of romantic portraits, laughter, and playful moments. The emerald green looked absolutely gorgeous against the warm autumn colors. Then it was time to celebrate! The reception was a total blast, with dancing, games, laughter, and all kinds of fun happening throughout the evening. After the challenges of getting married during COVID, it was especially wonderful to see everyone together, relaxing and enjoying the celebration. We wrapped up the night with a classic sparkler send off, with the newlyweds making their grand exit surrounded by sparkling lights, cheering friends, and family. From the meaningful cat details to the elegant emerald green color palette and joyful reception, this wedding was full of personality, love, and a little bit of Texas fall magic.
