A Fusion of Modern Industrial Style and Vietnamese Wedding Traditions in Houston
This wedding was the perfect blend of urban chic and timeless cultural tradition—set in two very different, but equally stunning Houston venues. We started the day at Ronin 2, one of our favorite wedding spaces in the city, located right in the heart of the Warehouse District in Downtown Houston. With its exposed brick, steel beams, oversized windows, and an effortlessly cool industrial vibe, it couldn’t have been a better fit for this stylish couple. The bride got ready in a modern white dress with the cutest oversized bow on the back, and it truly suited the feel of the venue. The groom was getting ready on-site too, which made it easy to set up their first look—a quiet, emotional moment captured in the soft morning light streaming through Ronin’s tall windows. The ceremony was sweet and heartfelt, and one of our favorite parts came at the end, when both sets of parents took part in a traditional Vietnamese presentation of gifts, honoring the couple and their families in such a meaningful way.
From Industrial Romance to Classic Celebration
After the ceremony, we made our way to the second venue: Chateau De L’Amour. The bride changed into a traditional outfit, and this space—with its ornate detailing and grand architecture—set the tone for a more classic celebration. Here, the couple honored Vietnamese wedding customs through speeches, games, and family traditions that were full of joy and connection. Once the formalities wrapped up, it was time to celebrate! The dance floor opened and we left our couple surrounded by their loved ones, dancing the night away and soaking in every moment of their perfect day.
