La Paz is the most interesting place I’ve ever been to. The city is set in a canyon created by the Choqueyapu River an elevation of roughly 3,650 m (11,975 ft) above sea level. Despite our fighting high altitude every day with aspirin, some local pills and coca mate, the moment we run into the wedding on the main square, we forgot all about our high altitude sickness and joined the religious procession followed by cholitas in fun skirts and a teddy bear.
Then there was flying above La Paz on telefericos, wine tasting in Tarija, crossing lake Titicaca on a boat and Isla del Sol, El Zongo where the clouds are born and so many llamas, our movie that we took to the festival.. But those are other adventures that you can catch at my personal blog
