A Heartfelt DIY Celebration Full of Love and Laughter
This wedding holds such a special place in our hearts—it was our very first time capturing an LGBTQ+ wedding, and we’re so grateful to these lovely brides for trusting us to document it all. Their backyard DIY celebration in Houston was filled with love, laughter, and personal touches that made the day truly one-of-a-kind. We started the day with getting-ready moments and some fun, lighthearted portraits with their bridesmaids. The energy was relaxed and joyful—exactly what you’d hope for on a wedding day. The ceremony was not only heartfelt but also hilarious, thanks to the star of the show: the flower boy, who came down the aisle tossing confetti everywhere and had everyone in stitches. It was the perfect mix of emotion and humor.

Sweet Moments, Nostalgic Treats, and a Bubble Send-Off
After the ceremony, we took portraits with the brides’ dogs (because yes, they were part of the wedding too!). Then everyone gathered for a cozy dinner filled with connection, conversation, and happy tears. And just when everyone thought the night couldn’t get any better—The Soda Shoppe rolled in! This vintage ice cream trailer brought childhood memories back to life and was a total hit with the guests. It also made for some incredibly cute photo moments. The evening ended with a bubble send-off as the newlyweds walked hand in hand through a sea of floating bubbles and cheers. Sweet, sentimental, and totally unforgettable.
