A Laid-Back Wedding Day Full of Laughter, Love, and Texas Charm
This wedding at Sea Star Base Galveston was pure joy from start to finish! With sparkling water views, an open-air chapel, and a Texas-style wedding party full of personality, it was everything you’d hope for in a laid-back, love-filled celebration. The day started with lots of laughter—literally. While the bride was still getting ready, the groom was surprised with a “fake first look.” One of his groomsmen showed up in a wedding dress, and it took the groom a second before he realized he’d been pranked. His reaction? Pure gold. The whole crew couldn’t stop laughing, and it set the perfect tone for the day ahead. The outdoor ceremony took place overlooking Offatt’s Bayou, with the marina sparkling in the background. One of the most emotional moments came when the bride shared her vows not only with the groom but also with his daughter. She promised to be a good wife and a loving mother—and there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd.

After the ceremony, we headed to the docks for some fun portraits with the wedding party. The Texas vibes were strong—the groom and his groomsmen wore jeans, blazers, and cowboy hats, while the bridesmaids absolutely rocked bold red dresses. The mix of style and personality made for some of the most fun, dynamic photos! The reception was full of dancing, laughter, and high-energy celebration. And when the night wrapped up, guests lit the way with glow sticks as the couple made their grand exit—straight onto a yacht for the perfect Texas-style getaway. It was one of those weddings that was as meaningful as it was fun, and we’re so glad we got to capture every glowing moment.
