This fall wedding at The Farmhouse in Montgomery, TX was one for the books! From the moment we arrived, we could tell this day was going to be something special. The couple’s vision was the perfect mix of laid-back elegance, autumn color, and unique personal touches—plus, The Farmhouse always delivers when it comes to beautiful light and wide-open Texas skies. The bride, effortlessly stylish, got ready with her bridesmaids while we captured candid moments, bridal details, and robe photos. Meanwhile, the groom and his groomsmen were enjoying their own prep time, and we made sure to get some relaxed, fun shots of them too. The ceremony was heartwarming and unforgettable, made even more special by the officiant wearing a full Scottish outfit! The burnt orange and black color palette worked so well with the warm autumn tones of the day and gave the entire celebration a modern, moody vibe without losing that cozy fall feel.
Golden Hour, Custom Denim Jacket & a Cat Cameo
Our favorite part? Golden hour and nighttime portraits outside! The Farmhouse grounds gave us so much to work with—from open fields and soft skies to twinkle-lit walkways that made for dreamy nighttime shots. One of the standout moments was the bride casually throwing on her custom-made denim jacket—a total vibe shift that brought even more personality to the session. And speaking of personality, we had a surprise guest: a local cat who decided to photobomb our portrait session! It added such a fun and spontaneous touch to the gallery. We also made sure to highlight the breathtaking Texas sunset sky, which turned into a canvas of glowing orange and pink—perfectly complementing the couple’s color scheme. The reception was laid-back and full of joy. Guests enjoyed casual outdoor games, danced the night away, and gathered for a private bride and groom dance under the stars. The night ended with a classic sparkler exit, sending off the newlyweds in the most magical way.
