Fairytale Light and a Hidden Gem
We had such a fun time photographing this engagement session at W. Goodrich Jones State Forest in Conroe, TX. If you’re looking for romantic forest engagement photos near Houston, this place is pretty special. The towering pine trees, quiet trails, and peaceful natural surroundings made the perfect setting for a relaxed afternoon together. And then there’s the little suspension bridge hidden among the trees, which added just the right amount of adventure to the session.
Golden Light, Sweet Moments, and Lots of Love
The sunlight filtering through the tall pine trees was absolutely beautiful, giving everything that warm, dreamy glow we love. We wandered along the trails, stopping for playful moments, cuddles, and plenty of kisses. The suspension bridge quickly became one of our favorite spots. There was something so romantic about the two of them walking across it together, surrounded by trees and that gorgeous evening light. As Houston engagement photographers, we love finding locations that feel a little different from the usual city spots. W. Goodrich Jones State Forest is close enough to Houston for an easy getaway, but once you’re surrounded by the pine trees, it feels like a completely different world. These two brought such great energy to the session and made it so easy to capture the real stuff: laughter, affection, playful moments, and that feeling of simply being happy together.
