A Fun Start in Midtown
This wedding was full of personality from beginning to end! We started the day at the couple’s Midtown Houston apartment, where both the bride and groom were getting ready. The preparations were relaxed, playful, and full of excitement. And of course, we were introduced to the cutest member of the family: their cat, who was very much part of the wedding day action. For their first look, we headed up to the rooftop of the apartment building’s parking garage. With a breathtaking view of downtown Houston, it was such a fun and unexpected spot for the first look and some portraits. The city skyline, beautiful light, and excitement of seeing each other for the first time made these moments extra special.
A Beautiful Ceremony at Houston Arboretum and a Fun Celebration
From Midtown, we headed to the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center for the ceremony. The couple exchanged vows beside the beautiful pond, surrounded by trees, greenery, and their closest family and friends. It was such a gorgeous setting for an intimate Houston wedding. After the ceremony, we wandered through the Arboretum trails for portraits, exploring the flowers, greenery, and peaceful paths. We stopped whenever we found beautiful light or a fun little spot for photos, capturing plenty of laughter, cuddles, and spontaneous moments along the way. The celebration continued back at their apartment building, where everyone gathered in the lobby for toasts, games, laughter, and plenty of fun. It was relaxed and personal, with everyone simply enjoying being together and celebrating the newlyweds. And then came the confetti exit! Colorful confetti everywhere, huge smiles, and one very happy newlywed couple made it the perfect ending to the night.
Honestly, we cannot pick a favorite photo from this wedding. From the rooftop first look and beautiful Arboretum ceremony to the cat, the laughter, and that epic confetti exit, we love them all!
