This couple decided to tie the knot at the courthouse and skip the big crowd. They wanted beautiful portraits to remember the day, and I was so honored to capture it.
Urban Chic Portraits with Iconic Houston Views
After their courthouse ceremony, I picked them up and we headed straight for one of my favorite photo spots: the rooftop of a downtown Houston parking garage. The skyline view was absolutely stunning, and these two brought all the joy and style to their session. From there, we walked a few blocks around the city to grab some iconic Houston shots—including a must-have moment with the METRORail passing through. The couple twirled under the twinkling lights near Brasa’s and danced in the gallery of the historic Texaco building—every corner of the city added something unique to their photos. Then, for a touch of greenery to balance out the urban vibes, we made a quick stop at Buffalo Bayou Park. With the skyline behind them, we recreated their very own “Runaway Bride” moment—playful, romantic, and so them. After our portrait session, the couple headed off to a private dinner with their closest friends and family—ending the day in a way that felt truly authentic.
