Fall Colors & Urban Vibes at Lost Lake
This engagement session at The Lost Lake and Buffalo Bayou Park took place during one of those rare moments when Houston puts on a show with fall colors—and wow, did it make everything feel extra magical. We started at Serenity Pond, a peaceful spot right in front of Fiori restaurant. With its modern architecture, floor-to-ceiling windows, and sparkling chandeliers, this location blends nature and design in the coolest way. The soft reflections on the water, paired with the lush surroundings, gave us a dreamy start to the shoot. As we wandered through the park, we made stops at the brutalist-style fountain, walked under palm trees, and took advantage of the amazing contrast between warm fall leaves and cool concrete textures. It felt like every spot brought a new energy to the gallery—soft and structured, quiet and bold. As golden hour rolled in, Noelle changed into a chic white mini jumpsuit, and we headed to one of my favorite spots in the park: the bridge with a wide-open view of the downtown Houston skyline. We ended the evening exploring more of Buffalo Bayou—stopping by the Dandelion fountain, climbing staircases, and pausing at benches and bridges along the way. The combination of evening light, cityscapes, and their undeniable connection made this session one for the books.
