A Quiet Celebration with Family
This intimate LGBTQ+ elopement at the Historic 1910 Courthouse in Houston was all about love, family, and keeping things beautifully simple. The couple chose to celebrate with only their closest family members, creating a quiet and meaningful wedding day. The two grooms exchanged rings, shared their vows and sealed the ceremony with a kiss. It was one of those small moments that didn't need a big crowd to feel incredibly special.
Timeless Courthouse Portraits
After the ceremony, we stayed around the courthouse for portraits. The historic rotunda gave us beautiful architectural details and a classic setting for a few portraits of the newlyweds. Then we stepped outside to explore the courthouse and surrounding streets. We photographed the couple together, capturing both more composed portraits and relaxed moments as they enjoyed their first few moments as newlyweds. The best part? They both love black and white photography, which made me very happy. I was able to create black and white versions of many of their favorite images, giving the gallery an even more timeless and emotional feel. There was something especially beautiful about keeping this wedding intimate. No huge production, no complicated timeline, just two people in love, their closest family, and a beautiful historic Houston courthouse.
