A Joyful Ceremony and New Orleans-Style Celebration
This wedding had all the charm, elegance, and personality we love to photograph—and it was truly one to remember! The day started at the groom’s family mansion, where he grew up. While the bride was tucked away upstairs for makeup and final touches, the groom, looking sharp in his tux, sat at the grand piano and played a few tunes with his groomsmen gathered nearby. We took some great portraits of him and the guys in front of the house and by the pool before they headed off to the venue. Meanwhile, the bridal suite was full of excitement. We captured some stunning shots of the bride on the sweeping staircase before she stepped into her limo and made her way to McGovern Centennial Gardens. This venue never fails to impress—it's one of Houston’s most beautiful spots, especially for an outdoor celebration. The ceremony in the gardens was heartfelt and full of joy. And right after the “I do’s,” the newlyweds and their guests—led by a jazz band—paraded through the gardens with umbrellas in hand, bringing that unmistakable New Orleans energy. It was fun, vibrant, and totally unforgettable!

As the sun set, we sneaked the couple away for romantic night portraits before heading into the reception. Floor-to-ceiling windows, candlelight, and an air of elegance set the mood perfectly. Their white-and-gold cake was a piece of art, and their bubble-filled grand exit was the sweetest way to wrap up an incredible day.
