Classic Beauty with a Modern Twist
This elopement at the historic 1910 Harris County Courthouse was everything—elegant, modern, and full of personality. I had an absolute blast photographing this stylish couple. From the moment we met, it honestly felt like I was working with professional models. Their connection and ease in front of the camera made the entire day a dream. The ceremony took place inside the courthouse by the stunning marble staircase, and it couldn’t have been more timeless. The rich textures, soaring ceilings, and soft indoor light made every frame feel cinematic. Right after the “I do’s,” we captured a few portraits around the courthouse before heading out into the streets of downtown Houston for more urban-inspired shots.
Downtown Vibes and Unexpected Weather Magic
Houston decided to keep things interesting with wind and an unexpected rain shower, but the couple rolled with it like pros. We found cover under nearby awnings and kept the momentum going, capturing sweet, intimate moments while we waited for the rain to pass. When the clouds finally broke, we were rewarded with the most beautiful soft sunlight—perfect for golden hour portraits to wrap up the session.
