A Picnic, Champagne, and a Very Special Place
This engagement session was extra meaningful because Menil Park is where he proposed. Coming back to the same place to celebrate their engagement made the whole session feel personal and full of memories. The bride looked effortlessly chic in a white pantsuit, while the groom was dressed just as elegantly. We spent some time walking around Menil Park, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and taking relaxed portraits together. Then we found a beautiful spot for a little picnic with champagne. It was such a fun way to slow down and enjoy each other, especially in a place that already held so much meaning for them. There was plenty of laughing, cuddling, champagne sipping, and simply enjoying the moment.
From Menil Park to the Streets of Downtown Houston
After the picnic, the couple changed outfits and we headed downtown for a completely different look. We walked through the streets of downtown Houston, exploring the architecture, city textures, and colorful little corners along the way. The outfit change gave the second half of the session a more polished and urban feel, while the downtown setting added a little energy and drama to their portraits.
We love engagement sessions that tell a story, and this one really did. From returning to the exact place where their story took a big step forward to celebrating with champagne and then exploring downtown together, the whole afternoon felt like a reflection of who they are as a couple.
